Yes, all appointments, regardless of the treatment you have booked for, begin with a thorough consultation. The fee for your consultation is redeemable against the cost of your treatment should you wish to go ahead with it at the time of your booking. At Gallery Medispa Milton Keynes, we take a holistic approach, considering patients concerns and expectations and supporting the patient before and after the treatment.

At Gallery Medispa, we believe that it is important that patient support starts with pre-treatment consultation, whereby the patient is fully prepared and comfortable in the hands of the practitioner, and most importantly in order to understand the patients aesthetic goals and expectations. Our patients must be assessed for suitability and provided the correct amount of information for them to make an informed decision.

CAN I HAVE DERMAL FILLERS AT THE SAME TIME?

Yes, more than one area of dermal filler can be treated in the same appointment, dependent upon assessment and suitability which will be determined a tthe time of your consultation, prior to your treatment.
 
Did you know that we offer dermal filler packages? These filler packages can often work out to be more cost-effective than booking individual areas to be treated. 
 
You can choose to add certain amount of filler or anti-wrinkle treatments, in the desired areas with professional and honest advice from our medical practitioner.

WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE?

Nearly everyone we see for this procedure, says afterwards they are surprised at how remarkably pain-free it was. This is due to our special techniques and expertise. We also invest in special needles that are smaller and therefore cause less trauma, resulting in less discomfort and bruising.  It is also an extremely quick treatment.

RISKS & SIDE EFFECTS

General side effects are swelling and/ or bruising and these usually subside within 2-3 days post procedure. Final results will be visible around 2 weeks post procedure. You will be provided with complete aftercare and if you are concerned about anything, please contact us.

At Gallery Medispa Aesthetics Clinic Milton Keynes, we recommend having 2 treatments of Profhilo, 4 weeks apart for optimum results. Therefore we recommend one treatment every 6 months to keep your results.

Bruising can happen, albeit rare, however there are also steps you can take to minimise this which we will advise in our pre and post care information, although no practitioner can guarantee against such.   Each patient is an individual and everyone will react differently, however we do our best at all times to ensure the most comfortable and positive experience for every patient that chooses us at Gallery Aesthetics.
You will be sent full pre and post treatment care prior to your appointment.

WHAT IS PROFHILO?

Profhilo is made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a potent moisturising factor naturally found in skin, muscle, and joints. Its ability to draw 1000 times its own weight in water into the skin makes it ideal for binding and retaining water molecules, hydrating the skin from within to leave it fresh and radiant.
We all naturally produce and break down hyaluronic acid every day, but as we age, the process gets a little sluggish. Profhilo is injected at 5 points on each side of the face and spreads evenly throughout the layers of the skin drawing water along the way. This approach plumps the skin and diminishes fine lines and wrinkles whilst boosting the skin’s radiance and dewiness – delivering a long-lasting serum-type effect, but without the serum. A Profhilo treatment consists of two treatments spaced four to six weeks apart and the results will last for approximately six months.
