The fee for your consultation is redeemable against the cost of your treatment should you wish to go ahead with it at the time of your booking. At Gallery Medispa Milton Keynes, we take a holistic approach, considering patients concerns and expectations and supporting the patient before and after the treatment. At Gallery Medispa, we believe that it is important that patient support starts with pre-treatment consultation, whereby the patient is fully prepared and comfortable in the hands of the practitioner, and most importantly in order to understand the patients aesthetic goals and expectations. Spider veins are like varicose veins but smaller. They are also closer to the surface of the skin than varicose veins. Often they are red, blue or purple. They can look like tree branches or spider webs with their short, jagged lines. They can be found on the legs and face and can cover either small or large areas of skin. The medical term for them is telangiectasia.

With smaller veins on the face, we may recommend Thermocoagulation instead. (see next FAQ section). We will decide upon the best course of treatment for you during your consultation.

The final outcome is usually noticeable from 4-6 weeks after the last treatment session (8 weeks if a single session is all that’s needed). During this time you will notice a gradual slimming of the treated area as the fat is broken down and expelled from the body. A long-term outcome is expected with this treatment, especially if you continue to follow a healthy diet and move regularly.

Appointments take around 30 minutes. This includes an in-depth consultation, numbing prior to treatment, the treatment and complete aftercare advice. The treatment itself is very quick.
